George Whitman is a Saint. He has been helping so many travelers for so long it is amazing. You must ask George if you want to stay at the bookstore. He is a very good judge of character because it seems like everyone who stays there is really cool. I have already met many people at the store that I will keep in touch with after Paris. Ah Paris, this is definatly the best city in the world. No one is rude - that is a bunch of shit - if you are polite, people are polite to you. And speak your worst french - they love it!! I was going to leave today to travel to Italy with Kurt and his gal Sally, but I have met so many cool people here that I'm gonna stay for awile. And free rent is also a factor, but to get to spend time with George, who truly should become a saint one day, is the real reason. Some day, hopefully very far into the future, I will champion his cause. So I'm still at the bookstore, come on by and say hello!!
