Trip over, on my way home. I had one day in Sydney. Had a great day walking all over town. That night I went to some fun pubs at the Rocks. I stayed at the CB Private Hotel which is down town right near the bus station and really central. A single was only $45 AU which is really great for Sydney. Left for Rusty's wedding in Portland in the morning.
Australia is a really big place with lots to see. Next trip I will go see Ayers Rock and then drive from Perth to Darwin (West Coast) which is supposed to be spectacular and less crowded than the East. I was a bit tortured by all the horrible music I had to listen to in Aussiland - no good live bands - a bit of a cultural graveyard.
