Back in Europe (thank Allah)
Paris, France
September, 2001
What an excellent summer. Christopher and I went sailing every day there was wind and we had great surf almost the entire summer. The hurricane kept out to sea but the swells didn't. Chris and I can in 4th place in the 16 ft Hobie race (we got cut off in the channel, missed a mark, and there was no way to recover). Chris did win the 14ft race for his 6th year in a row. In August the beautiful and super cool Nicole Orton came out to Jersey and has remaind with me ever since. We left the states one week after the Trade Center Attack. Very sad, but I think its much sadder that so many more innocent lives will be lost as a result. I'm really happy to be out of the reaches of the evil media circus of America. Paris is just how I left it. Its great to be here with Nicole. She is realy enjoying herself and everyone loves her. Tonight we are having Poetry, Wine and Cheese at the bookstore for the celebration of Sylvia's return from Cuba (George's daughter). This place rules - Please, come and visit - don't believe a word about danger traveling oversea's - its a bunch of Media bullshit - OK, this is not a good time to visit Afganistan..........
